During the NCG symposium on July 3 the Prof. J.M. Tienstra Research Prize 2024 was awarded to dr. ir. Hossein Aghababaei, who works at the Faculty of Geo-Information Sciences and Earth Observation. Of the University of Twente.
Prof. Peter Teunissen, chairman of the jury of this edition, presented the prize. After the award ceremony, Hossein gave a presentation about his research work in the Netherlands since 2020 in the field of geodesy and SAR remote sensing.
The symposium took place at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences of Delft University of Technology.
